Welcome
Dear Wildcat Families:
We are very excited to host our first Leadership Day Monday, April 29th, 2013. This day is to show our Wells community the leadership skills our students have. This year we have started a new program called The Leader in Me. This program is designed around the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, by Stephen Covey. By learning these Habits, our students are beginning to understand what leadership is all about. It is not about being first, the best, or the top! It is about being able to work together on common goals and to share the success of everyone involved. Not that there is a problem with being the best or first or on top, it should not be the focus.
Wells is just in the beginning stages of understanding these 7 Habits and the transformation is just now starting to take shape. It will take the entire school community to make the transformation a success. If you would like mor information on The Leader in Me ask your student or stop by the school and we can get you the information you need. You can also go to http://www.theleaderinme.org for more info too!
Thank you for visiting our webpage! If there are any questions about this page or our school please contact us any time. The school number is (309) 796-1251.
